Currencies and Rates

Base currency. Our catalog, invoices for accounting, and VAT are handled in EUR (Euro). All prices are stored and calculated in EUR first.

Display currencies. You can choose a preferred currency in your account (including at registration). We convert amounts from EUR to that currency so you can browse and checkout in a currency that suits your business.

Availability. We may disable specific currencies when circumstances require it (for example operational or banking constraints). At any time, the currencies you can actually use—including for checkout and settlement where we offer them—are exactly those shown in the currency selector when you are signed in (e.g. in the site header or under Account). The list on this page reflects the current configuration but may change if we adjust availability.

Exchange rates. For conversions we use daily reference rates published by the European Central Bank (ECB). Rates are retrieved through the Frankfurter API (open data, no API key). The ECB typically updates working-day rates once per day (often around 16:00 CET).

Checkout. Once you have a display currency selected, checkout only shows payment methods that are available for your order in that context—for example after we apply country eligibility and any currency-specific method rules on our side—so you do not see methods that are not valid for how you are settling in that currency.

Orders. When you place an order, the applicable rate is fixed for that order (snapshot at checkout), so totals stay consistent with what you confirmed. You can review currency preferences anytime from the header or Account.
